Pilbara Ecological is committed to providing a safe workplace for our staff, clients and the general public.

As detailed in the Occupational Safety and Health Act (1984), we follow all relevant regulations, standards, codes of practice and guidelines for providing:

  • Safe systems of work

    Risk Assessments, JHA (Job Hazard Analysis) and Safe Work Instructions use a risk matrix approach to identify and control hazards covering all tasks that are carried out.

  • Induction, information, training and supervision

    All staff are qualified and experienced to carry out their duties. Inductions and training are provided to all staff on an ongoing basis.

  • Provision of personal protection

    All staff are provided with appropriate PPE.

  • Safe equipment and materials

    All materials and equipment are regularly checked, maintained and stored appropriately.

We have comprehensive insurance plans, including public liability and professional indemnity. Due to our strong safety focus and our commitment to employing qualified and experienced staff, we have recorded zero serious safety incidents since commencing operations.
